How it works

Two sides. One clear picture.

You say what you need. Your team says what they understood. You see the gap.

1
Write down what you need done
What did you tell them? What does success look like? What was agreed and by when? The clearer you are here, the more useful everything that follows will be.
2
Your team answers privately in their own words
Each person says what they understood, what they have done, what is blocking them, and what support they need. Nobody can see each other's answers before the report is ready. That is the point. It is the only way to get what people actually think rather than what they think you want to hear.
3
You see what landed and what did not
Where people are in sync you will see it. Where there is a gap you will see exactly who thought what, how far apart things are, and what the gap is costing you.
4
You know exactly what to fix
Not a vague note to improve communication. Specific people, specific misunderstandings, specific next steps. The report tells you what to address and who to speak to.

What you actually create

Every Ground has a situation, a set of participants, a check-in frequency, and a set of questions. Here is what one looks like.

What we are working on: Launch MarketView in Lagos by September
Participants: 12 team members
Check-in frequency: Weekly
Questions: What did you complete? What is blocking you? What do you need?
Progress: Week 1 complete. Week 2 complete. Week 3 in progress.

You create one of these for any situation where more than one person needs to be working toward the same thing.
